About

This site is dedicated to helping people understand and succeed in the graduate school admission process for Clinical Psychology PhD programs. I am devoted to helping you prepare the best application possible by sharing what I have learned through my own graduate school admission process. I am committed to providing you with the best possible information to help you understand the process, put together the strongest application you can, and realize your goals.

As a first generation college student, I was completely bewildered by the grad school application process when I first started, and it took a lot of extra effort to gather the necessary information I needed to put together a successful application. Luckily, I had support from wonderful mentors who helped me every step of the way. However, I realize that not everyone has access to that kind of support–which is what inspired me to start this blog.

Even for those who are familiar with higher education and the ins and outs of academia, applying to graduate school can be a confusing and trying process. However, for first generation and underrepresented minority students, it can be even more difficult. My aim is to de-mystify the grad school application process and make it as seamless and fruitful as possible by offering practical advice that leads to real results. As someone who made it through, I want to do my part to pay it forward by helping my fellow aspiring clinical psychologists in whatever way I can.

I hope you find the contents of these pages useful in your journey. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions. I look forward to assisting you in your quest to become a clinical psychologist.

Cheers!
